About | The Hues Project
A note from me
I’m Elizabeth — the founder of Hues Clothing, and the person building The Hues Project.
The Hues Project is a capacity-first platform creating more accessible routes to market for product-based businesses — built with community, not hustle culture.
The thread that connects it all
Hues Clothing began with a simple mission: make the world a more comfortable place.
Our mission is to empower individuals of all ages to express themselves freely through clothing that feels as good as it looks. We’re here to support families, foster inclusivity, and inspire a brighter, more accessible future for all.
Our vision is bigger than clothing: a world where everyone — regardless of ability — can thrive in a community that values individuality, sustainability, and connection. Hues has always been about advocacy, creativity, and meaningful change.
Why The Hues Project exists
Over time, my health and mobility declined — and I hit a point where it felt like the only “responsible” option was to shut my business down.
Not because the mission mattered less, but because the default route to market assumes consistent energy, mobility, and recovery time.
For most product brands, growth still relies on being physically present: markets, pop-ups, trade shows, networking, and constant visibility. If your capacity fluctuates (for any reason), that model can become impossible to keep up with.
So The Hues Project is the choice I’m making instead: building better routes to market together, so founders don’t have to disappear when their bodies (or lives) change.
What happens next
Hues Lab will be a small WhatsApp community for product-based founders building with fluctuating capacity.
It’s not open yet — I’m building it gently.
If you join the waitlist, I’ll email you the invite when the doors open (plus occasional practical resources in the meantime).
